Once upon a time, I wrote plays and short stories (quite well) and poetry (badly) and had many outlines and treatment chapters for never-finished novels. Then, for reasons I no longer remember, I stopped.
But a couple of years ago, I was stuck in France, poor, and desperately lacking in English-language reading material. While trawling through the internet looking for free books, I entered a random selection of key words that threw up dreamweaver's spuffy fanfiction. After reading everything she'd written, I realised there was *more* ... and a monster was born. A few months later, I started writing (mostly as stuffandnonsense). And although I've tried branching out a bit, I've found nothing quite hits the spot like a good bit of spuffy.
